Dylan Morrissey, MD

Dr. Dylan Morrissey was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and has aspirations to serve his hometown community. He studied at the University of Florida, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree, then went on to achieve his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Morrissey had the opportunity to assist in research at Moffitt Cancer Center developing and improving novel cancer therapies called CAR-T cells. He then came back to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center with Orlando Health. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

As a sports and fitness enthusiast, Dr. Morrissey is passionate about optimizing your quality of life through preventive medicine. His strong interest in cancer research led Dr. Morrissey to his ultimate goal of helping prevent chronic diseases including cancer instead of waiting for them to present. Some of his main motivations for starting Highlands Direct Primary Care were emphasizing lifestyle changes to maintain quality of life as patients age, bring price transparency and affordability back into medicine, and increase access to high-quality primary care.
